MASK REQUIREMENTSIn line with the Chief Public Health Officer's recent announcement as of Friday 20th November masks will require to be worn by everyone as they arrive at That Fun Place. Adults must keep their masks on at all times during their visit (except when eating or drinking).
Children, however, will be permitted to remove their masks whilst they play in the play area. Masks must be put back on as they are leaving the facility (i.e. whilst in the front entry way) Please note that children under the age of 2 are NOT required to wear a mask at any time. Also children under the age of 5 are ONLY required to wear a mask if they are willing to do so. If you have any questions please give us a call.
COVID-19 UPDATE PART 2We have been back up and running now since July 2nd and we have LOVED seeing you all again. However, now that we have a few weeks under our belts we realise that if we are going to stay afloat we need to make some changes. Starting immediately we will be offering two hour time blocks for play times and for parties. This will help us to allow more customers in to our facility each day. We appreciate that we have essentially gone from offering unlimited play times (pre-covid) to two hours only play times (post-covid) but we promise this is only temporary until things start to get back to "normal".
We hope you all understand our need to make this change and we hope you will continue to support our little business. We are working tirelessly to continue to make sure our facility is safe, clean and FUN for you all.
We are excited to announce that we will be reopening on Thursday 2nd July! We have missed you all so much and cannot wait get back to having FUN!!
Obviously there will be some major changes and we please ask that you bear with us during the first few days and weeks whilst we all become accustomed to these.
First of all we are initially going to be opening Thursdays to Sundays only. This will allow us to maximise our working hours and minimise expenses. Our days are going to be split in to 9am-1pm bookings and 2-6pm bookings. Play times must now be pre-booked using the booking form located on our Hours and Prices page. When booking please select a date and time slot and we will then respond to confirm your booking or to make alternative arrangements if the date or time are not available. Unfortunately our booking form will not let us restrict the dates available so please ensure to only select a day when we will be open.
Once your date and time has been confirmed we will require payment for your booking prior to your visit. We are asking for pre-payment for a variety of reasons but mainly to try and limit contact between staff and customers, to help reduce any bottleneck of customers at our entry way and also to minimise any possible "no shows" which, if happened often, could have a very negative effect on our small business.
When you arrive at our facility you will require to sanitize your hands immediately upon entry. Please then remove all shoes, jackets, etc and place them in the cloakroom area or in one of our free to use lockers. When instructed to do so proceed to the front desk to check in and sign the waiver. You are then free to move in to the play area and start having some FUN.
When in the play area social distancing must be maintained at all times. Even by the children at play. Whilst we appreciate the difficulties this may cause we would be extremely grateful if you could monitor the children in your care at all times to ensure that they are following this rule. NOTE: we have decreased the capacity to our facility by 80% to help with social distancing.
Each time slot will have their own trains, ball blaster balls, tonka cars, etc that can be used during that time. At the end of each play session all of these toys will be removed for cleaning/sanitizing and freshly cleaned and sanitized toys will be put in their place for the next group.
In between each booking the entire facility will be cleaned and sanitized as per CPHO guidelines. We do therefore ask that everyone exit the facility as quickly as possible at the end of their booking in order to allow staff sufficient time to get things reset for the next group.
We will have hand sanitizer readily available throughout our facility and we ask that this be used as and when necessary. There will also be floor signage and posters located throughout the facility to help aid with social distancing.
Obviously, if you or anyone in your group are feeling unwell please stay home!!! We do reserve the right to refuse admission to anyone.
We will be taking birthday party bookings also at this time, however, due to COVID-19 restrictions we are only able to offer one party package at this time. Each party will be "private" but the number of attendees will be limited to 14 (including all babies, children and adults who will be staying during the entire party). More information regarding the package can be found on our Party Page.
If you would prefer to come play with a group of your friends we are also offering Group Bookings at this time. Again information regarding these bookings can be found on the Party Page.
PLEASE NOTE AT THIS TIME OUR CAFE MENU IS NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. Pre-Packaged snacks and drinks can still be purchased.
